I love jogging and rope jumping and i do them almost ever week.
I never once hitted the gym.
Might purely be based on perception but, when i compare myself with
my friends (gym gooers), i am fitter (not stronger
definitely).
I tried 2.4 and was able to do a 10 mins flat, but both my gym
crazy friends gave up after 500 metres.
I cant do more weights, chin ups and strength intensive stuffs as
much as them, but both failed their NAFA due to jogging, whereas i
am able to hit a gold.
As much as both of them are fit in terms of strength, they were
overweight, and have thick layers of fats below their muscles. they
do grow in size, but still with the fats above their muscles.
One of them weighs 90 KG standing at around 1.75 and has around 22
body fats percentage
Another weighs 80+ KG and i heard that he has over 20 body fats
percentage
I stand 170 and has around 11 body fats percentage
I feel very unfair for people who wants to lose weight by jogging
and rope jumping.
IMO, rope jumping is the best exercise, followed by jogging.
Rope jumping not only helped me slimmed down, also gave me tonned
arms, chest and it gave me my 6 pacs, which was not there
before.
All kinds of exercises, esp for people who want to slim down,
jogging and rope jumping will certainly bring them into a better
condition for hitting the gyms.
