I just booked mine on Sunday!! Hey i asked for the 15" rim and they told me it will void warranty? is it true? also the rims will not be Toyota's original rims.

I've only paid the 10.5k deposit, can i still ask for the free upgrade in the rims?

I dont think tyres and rims are included in the warranty? BM said they are giving me the same 15" tyres and rims as the 1.8ltr altis.

Anyway, u shld have agreed with the agent on the discount b4 making any bookings.

How much did ur car cost?? Saw the ad on today classified section that Altis cost $70,388 now...Shit..got mine in Jan for $73,100.

I just put the downpayment for my altis too.
The agent refused to give me 15'
i asked a few agents. all refused!
but my agent now said that the 15' really cannot coz she said the budget v tight now.. dunno wat that means but she couldnt give me coz cost 400+ or smth
Did u pple add in the 6-CD changer??? now its panasonic
or u noe anywhere outside that can add in the CD changer? i would prefer a 10CD changer but now their package comes only with the 6cd one and it costs $560
is that ex or cheap?

it is still ok with 14" tyres. Suggest press the agents to get discount or something. With the new tax cut, this might be a bit difficult. How much are you paying for your altis? I paid $72988 for the deluxe in end feb04. The current price is now $71888. Difference of about $1000. I expected the tax cut in apr04 but i bought b4 apr04 bec i fear my old car can only be sold at scrap value now. i managed to sell my mar01 car $2000 above scrap value.

Well, I got the first batch as we booked b4 X'mas... I paid like $74,888 for it but then my old car was due to scrap like 31st Jan...so yah I got it b4 CNY, and it was the first few on the road... u know chinese lah... got new car to drive on first day on CNY, both seh bin and auspicious so maybe the higher premium is worth it...

anyway juz to tell u guys now after the tax cut scrap value aft 10 yrs is like about $8800 instead of my $10400... inform me if i am wrong....

Jus collected my altis last friday...

It's black in colour.. so it takes alot of effort to keep it looking nice and new. Had to clean the car everytime if it's caught in the rain.. If not, it looks really dirty. Sometimes a bit regret it, should have went for the silver one.

But no complains about the car. Looks and drive real good. Air con's super powerful too.

hey..is there anywhere reliable to check out on mod, hop ups for our altis (place where i dun get chop)?? I’m looking for a full frame metallic sid skirting so tt i dun dirty it!..i saw some TRD’s..very impressive..

Mr. Green Just checked my mileage yesterday, the day did about 13km/ltr. Use to be around 12km/ltr. What a surprise !

How can you so lucky can get the 15" tyres ? did you get any discount from the SE ?? the 14" ones look abit undersize for the bulky body. Confused

I booked in late jan04 before the recent tax cut. I guess that’s why BM agreed to the 15” tyres. Anyway, would it be expensive to change to 15” outside? BM told me it would cost abt $380.

how do you check your fuel consumption on a daily basis?? Dun you normally divide the total distant traveled over the amount of fuel used?

if i accidetally step on the accelerator when i am in neutral will it cause any harm to my engine.. i think it is still below 3000 or 4000rpm when i accidentally stepped..
