hey dude ... i think you'll have to go for the first servicing first for the F/C to improve ... initially i was doing like about 280/tank (dun ask how) then after service a good improvement ... like 400/tank Mr. Green

wait till they do the 10k servicing ... i think then they will do the sparks ... but personally i changed the LS430 sparks for my sunny ... good and smooth Idea

Confused I sent my car for another checkout at Bukit Timah service centre today. The service manager had explained to me that this new Sunny came with electronic throttle and unlike the older model which used mech cable. He aadvised me to change my driving habit not to press on the accelerator too much.. should be light footed as not to waste fuel... He also asked me to pump up fuel all the way up to track the next mileage again... Will try to see if this will improve the FC problem...

Sunny is quite infamous for having high FC ...
Run 220kmh on NSE ? Doubt so ... even if can, one wunders the damage imposed on the engine ... datz pushing the engine ovr the limit oledi ...

naaa .... i got friend driving stock sentras - the speed limiter can go way further then that .... *key point is empty your car and off aircon ... lowered front sub

I bought a new 2004 Nissan Sunny EX1.6 Auto just a month ago. Experience exceptional high FC... From Full to Empty (fuel indicator on) only clocks average 270km. Base on top-up fuel amount from Empty to Full of 38 litres. This is only around 7.3Km per litre. Sent to workshop, they are not able to solve the high FC problem... The service manager told me he received a few compliants on high FC also. This is real bad! Anyone have the same experience?

That is pretty bad. Maybe it could be because it is still too new. You should monitor your FC after your first servicing.

Dun think u shld compare a S'pore Nissan Sunny to Sentras in JB ... most of dem are modified anyway ... anyway comparing Sunny 2 those king kong mercs of M'sia is not comparing apple 2 apple ...

Maybe some1 is crazy enuf go 220 kmh .. but the crux of the issue is .... "engine damage" ... moreover the car isn't built 2 go that fast .. safety is also a concern
