dun have a picture to show but it is one model before the Altius and it is made in Japan .... the biggy one with the big round head lamps, and there is Manual if you are open to that option .... BM dun carry that shipment anymore ... they only do the Altius now

that corolla is JDM G9....which many owners nickname....Hipporolla becoz is abit buldging all the way..... so far the feedback has been good, and the owner swear by it that it is much better finish than Altis... but compare the price...G9 cost much more... than Altis now... hee hee hee Very Happy [/i]

was advised by some contacts that the G9 models is on timing belt and wear and tear will ensure i spend alot of $ on maintenance and changing of the timing belt.. any owners driving their G9 for more than 3 years here?any probs with ur G9?

n observed dat some corolla models got wat xLi, Gli, etc on the rear of the car.... wat do these mean? their outlook looks abt the same in a glance.... Wink

G9 have no problems with my dad ... he has the car before it was lunched by BM at december 2001 ... the car gives no problem at all ... it is still powerful no f/c problem ...

those LX, XLi and GLi denotes the car internal,for example ... there is 2 version of LX one is 1.5LX means 1.5 without leather sit and the 1.6 LX means 1.6 without leather sits, both does not have power folding side mirrors. the XLi means 1.5 with leather sits and with power folding side mirrors and wood grain trimmings in the interior. where as the 1.6 GLi is the best ... all in ... leather sits, powerfolding side mirror, wood grain and sports rims from toyota.

btw, i went with a colleague looking for 2nd hand car to the Ubi carmart tis afternoon..... the 3rd level carpark all full of cars... see until i blur...... so many dealers and so many cars.... din know where to start...... any recommendations where can get good and reliable 2md hand cars? think tis might be quite difficult to advise since the dealers generally buy the cars from the owners and the quality for each batch of newly bought 2nd hand cars will be different.... but at least a reputable one so dat i will at least haf peace of mind placing my downpayment if i really wan to go for 2nd hand car...... n dats a G9 xLi for sure! Wink

Am wondering if it is really worth it to get a used car now? considering the relatively less expensive new car prices now?
