The high pay is not a issue if the servant is able to deliver
the same high standard performance.
But, with all the honest mistakes and let's move on, what are we
really paying for ?
They are allowed to stay around even if they made a mistake
without apologising and fixing it.
Not forgetting that we are to blame for not being cheaper,
better and faster if they cannot fix any issues that arises.
The general public is not jealous of them earning millions.
But, with no results to show and no track records of fixing
rising living costs, the money saved can be used to reduce tax and
rental of the hawker centers.
Or else we will trapped with the vicious cycle of more bonus and
performance variable to be generated from the people, thus
higher cost of living.
With all boo boo that we have seen with the MPs trying to engage
the general public, it indicated that most of them are still living
in their ivory tower and looking at issues with their point of
view.
They have lost touch with the ground.
I dun blame them as they have lived a life tailored and seasoned
with good stuff and they will never understand the issues faced by
the ground if they have tasked their job to their followers.
So, unless they REALLY walk the ground like the other party,
hiding behind a computer with a facebook account will not help in
any way.
Now finally I have found a compatriot and someone with the same
factional thinking like me.
I agree with you 100%.
So it is not the issue of pay, but what they do (their
performance).
So in fact when people focus on the pay.....errrr.....isnt it
will take away the focus from the more important aspects ?
What if tomorrow the pay is drastically reduced and then people
will forgive the ministers more, because they subconsiously expect
them to work more sloppily and commit more mistakes.
So really the whole pay thing issue is strange.
