one of my worker (washing lady) lives in Boon Lay 3 rooms with
upgraded extension of living room+ balcony+ a sliding door in
between (make it look like condo style) , the upgrading was
done in somewhere 2004, cost was 16k, resident paid 6k full or by
installment without interest, govt sponsor 10k. She said, at first
the showroom shown a big balcony, but later upgrade already, look
very small, she said it is good for drying cloth, but rainy days,
water also can come in, and if you dun collect your clothing, it
get wet, and also the wall get eroded easily, need to paint often.

I will check it up and perhaps take a photo of the balcony to
share with forumers when I go to eat the famous Nasi Lemak at the
Boon Lay Hawker Centre next time.
