okay lah. at least u didnt RECEIVE A NOTE FROM A RESIDENT like me! what your resident say?? ^^edit:saw the thread liao, its funny XD

ditzy SG

no idea, but i remember i heard someone appealing and his appeal was successful.

Definitely it will be successful, no point arguing sometimes, just give the benefit of doubt. You should hear the kind of excuses that come in at town councils. Stomach ache is the most frequently used.

s0nic SG

lol stomachache is indeed the most common one. we need to think of new excuses!

just went for a movie along orchard and parked at emerald hill public carpark the lots outside that condo opposite heeren and when i got back there was a parking ticket for 30 bucks issued at 3.30am! best thing was no sign stating that parking was not free and none of the usual ''till 10pm'' ones as well. the guy who did it is probably the biggest donkey-screwing asswipe in the country coming out to summon people at 3.30 in the morning! government nothing better to do ah deploy so many useless people to summon cars at wee hours and yet they can let a crippled terrorist escape wtf man. anybody got any insights as to complaining to the parking authorities? bomoh recommendations to curse the ''hardworking'' fella are welcome as well

Come on lah. The warden is just doing his job. You took a gamble, and you lost, so pay the fine. From wat u said, I'm sure it's not the first time u park there. Since u already siam paying so many times, just pay once lor.

airgrinder SG

isn't there a way to generate fake parking coupons? cannot design a similar one using photoshop and print them out on those hard paper?

nv nv do fake. Just kana caught once, and your driver's licence is gone. Plus, you'll be charge with some trying to bluff government authority acts.

1st time getting summon?

i got summon ranging from 1am to 5am....

so far.. i got like 6 liao...

once even better, i got summon on the 1st may 11pm...

coz holiday free parking. but only last from 7am to 10:30pm.... went to pick up the car ard 12am...

that is still not the best.. i once got 2 summon on the same day on the same lot.....

I agree, I have a friend who is doing just that, he's like 1 point from getting his licence revoked.

deepak.c SG

Yes, they do come out at ungodly hours too.

ditzy SG

Parking wardens, when they don't do their job, and caught lazing around (read STOMP), they get criticized. When they do their job, they also get criticized.

tsk tsk tsk, tough job huh?

vito_corleone SG

meia: i don't think i can appeal, the govt always wins lol.

they'd rather spend their time issuing summons for cars than to catch or guard terrorists. our tax money sure is put to good use
