but current stage, we have not be able to elect our
own local governor, but my point is democracy is not the only
solution, it depends, also democracy is beautiful, but it's
not a must,
just like me, i live in china now, i feel comfortable, no matter
who is ruling, as long as they don't annoy me, it's ok,
western label china as communist country, but you see, china is
not like the rest of the communist country, china have it's unique
way, china is pulling ppl out of poverty.
If Jiang jieshi win the war against mao, i think the new china
will go a capitalist way, but Mao win, why because he win the
support of public,
i have tell you, during those day, the capitalist world got a
lot of problem, recession, unemployment, so china choose to go a
socialist way with china flavor,
I have tell you stability is above all, why china till now still
remain as one country, because chinese people are tolerant,
they can tolerant each other ,accept each other as they are, if
china go western way, yes, economy will greatly boasted, but people
become more selfish, more egoestic, no more tolerate ,then the
tension in china will become very huge, social and inter ethnical
harmony will be greatly endangered.
i am not saying democracy is beautiful nor will it solve china
food contaminated issues. but in democracy, the ruling govt will
feel the pressure to perform and responsible to the ppl otherwise
they will be voted out. this is not happening in a communist rule!
maybe the current wenjiabao, hujintao is responsible and
willingness to crack down on corruption etc, but what happen to
china if the Ren da meeting choose someone who rule
like Mao or jiangching? are the chinese going to wait for them
to die again and hopefully another deng xiaoping to appear
again?
anyway, whether china is communist or not, is not my
priority la. i just work in china occassionally and i must say
agree that chinese ppl are very tolerant and nice to foreigner.
