1st, i do understand the laws of economics, and what repercussions
might arise from such a price alteration. so don't undermine me by
saying "your little theory". i'm not ignorant, you
adduced my assertion which was flawed.
2nd, i did make a mistake in my post , after reading it for the
second time, but like most of the time, you go on flaming forum
members here before clarification.. judge yrself before you judge
others.. cos everyone is flawed.
3rd, when bentley was acquired by bmw, and when the new mini was
released under bmw, bmw stocks did go up. the price of the mini,
like all new cars, was inflated. But over time, the price did
fall.. so, my question, finally, is why the price of an elise did
not dip when a new model is coming up this year. maybe cos of the
lack of demand? exclusivity? lack of marketing in the peninsula,
despite it's parent company's location.
Duh...
I simply pointed out some facts.
is that flaming? gee sorry... next time i'll try not to use "your"
(oh hey! i've only refered to y** once my entire post! and that
constitutes flaming! well done!)or "you" or anything to point out
that y** were the one who said wondered why lotus remains expensive
even though Malaysian owned, since y** are so sensitive to
it.
as for my post, not a word i've said is wrong.
y**r post of : heh, another comparison, 210k for a 1.8litre lotus
elise. It's malaysia owned, why the heck can't they make it more
affordable.. implies that JUST because it is malaysian owned, its
no longer worth paying that much for a car whose dynamics are near
beyond reproach.
other than point out that what y**'ve said does not make sense
because for a performance car like Lotus to be cheap, is like
asking why the heck can't they make Ferraris cheaper, I have said
nothing against y**. Y** choose to consider my pointing out of
certain important points as flaming, so be it. and in return, start
the "look in the mirror" bullShit, so be it.
I think we all know who was the one really flaming here without so
much as a thought.
