majority of singaporeans are biased against PRCs. there
are good and bad people among all races and nationalities.
you are marrying one girl, not the whole china population.
go find out about her and her only!!
why bother about other people's experiences?
Marriage is for life. If TS don't find out more about her
culture and perception on family, by then wouldn't it be too late
to ask for a divorce? As much as we can say TS is only marrying one
girl, and not the whole of china, we have to admit that the PRC are
still relatively poor. Unless we are talking about people from
Shang Hai and Beijing.
And in the Chinese culture, the children has to support their
parents in their old age. Shouldn't TS check what their demands
are? If their family back then ask once in a while for $10k, just
to build a school for the village, should this burden lie upon the
shoulders of TS just because he is from Singapore a richer
country?
