curiously ... both the free puerto rico and free hawaii
organization's websites ... are hosted in the United States
Itself
Can you point out to me any examples of Free Tibetan websites
hosted in China ? ....
There were public referendums in Quebec, and also public
referendums THREE TIMES in puerto rico incidently ....
in which the independence movement were defeated in the polls
.....
what rights, pray tell, do the tibetans enjoy in terms of self
determination ? .... do you see any independence parties allowed
within China, like in US soil ? ....
of course, perhaps you probably wouldn't count such a thing
important and neccessary .... since you yourself, doesn't have the
right to vote in your own country too ....
Strangely before the americans start massacre of red indian in
the red indian continent, they never hold any public referendum
asking if the red indian want to get killed and give up their
lands.
After the dissidents are killed, then they give them the freedom to
vote for their future. What a joke? The government of coz will
allow that to happen knowing that the unhappy majority has become
the minority.
When the British is ruling singapore, did they hold an election for
the people to decide for their future? No, only after their
influence reduce after being whacked by the Japanese, then they no
choice but to start giving democracy.
I am fine if thru voting, the people can release their anger and
feel better as long as they don't turn to violence after seeing
their dream doesn't come true.
Ironically, the country that claim to be a democracy guru doesn't
respect the international democracy at all. US has used his veto
power many times to reject the UN resolution.
Just to list a few, when the UN is voting to whether lift the
sanction on Iraq, most countries vote to lift sanction after seeing
so many childrens in Iraq died because of insufficient food and
medicine, US veto it. There are times when most countries in the
security council is drafting a formal condemnation to Israel on its
attack to the civillians, US veto it.
Got this time when the world has decided that a nuclear country
must not use nuclear weapon on a non-nuclear country, US again veto
it. In 1980, US veto a resolution that is to aid the people
suppressed by the south african apertite policy. Where is their
concept of demoracy?
