the case i stated would have been successful in another country with family oriented policies..as u can see its clearly complex sociopolitics at work

how do we not know for sure that the girl is married to another man but still thinking abt the guy?

how do we not know for sure tat her parents might have influenced her and due to family pressure , caved in?

what made her go to a man she only knew recently after the first guy whom she knew for many yrs?

if she din like her first bf, why would she stay with him for years?

what makes u think she is happy by caving in to society pressure?

Blame the guy for not working hard/change job, get promotion and earn more.

Anyway, I believe the theory is true (at least to me) womenfolk my age (18-21) prefer guys from well to do families. I'm embarrassed to be privileged that my parents gave me platinum supp. credit cards. Recently I went out with a girl whom I had known for quite some time, but didn't have the opportunity to date at all. Her expectation of a guy is must have looks, brains and $$.

So on our outing when I paid for our meal with the card, u could see that her eyes widened. And she asked to see the card as well. From then, she has always taken the initiative to ask me out etc.This brings me to the deduction that sadly....and most tragically...money is a big motivating factor...at least for that girl. Ps. I'm not flaunting or anything, in fact I'm embarrassed to be privileged and have left my cards at home since that experience and kept this particular girl at arms length, limited to only MSN conversations.

I mean, I'm only 20 and what I have is what my parents give me. If she wants to be well off...she shud go after my dad man, not me.

yep yr dad is the man for her...obviously this girl doesnt have the brain to analyse and see if u are a capable man or not..just becos u have $$$ which is not yrs anyway doesnt mean u are god...She jumped to conclusions just by seeing yr credit card,,, i feel sad for her...

this has been found in ancient times. During those times u can find Intellectual women of a higher society falling in love with male servants or soldiers who exibit male characteristics

Actually why should I even be bothered? I will waste time, money and ultimately end up with nothing. On top of that, given her character, she will definitely badmouth me and I will end up being the brat that took everything from her and left her with nothing. I would rather be the guy that has every characteristic a female wants and desires in her guy, but am unable to get, only for that lucky one girl. Besides, I make it a point to pay back what ever amount I swipe off the card though my parents are still concerned if I have enough money to spend. Its simply a principle...being given the card is a privilege and not an entitlement. So I won't take advantage of it by busting a big hole in it.
