Do you think they just anyhow tikam tikam which company? They probably did read the proposals submitted by the contenders before choosing which company to operate NEL. Also, Delgro had already a plan to further diversify their business, so how can it be a wrong move if a company has a plan to diversify its business and eventually got awarded as the operator of NEL.

Iveco is right - Rudd believes in using 4 million talents instead of giving too much weightage to one super-talent like MM Lee or LHL. Singapore economy will go down very fast the moment the hype about IR and the world economic recovery loses steam. Why? Because for years as witnessed over the last three recessions there is too much emphasis on promoting only their own self-glorifying talents and not recognising their own people's talents in every field.

So no matter how hard their ministers have tried the economic restructuring did not happen. They alone the few self-possessed super-talents can never hope to equal 4 million half-past-six smaller talents put to good application.
