My paternal grandfather was Hokkien, my paternal grandma was Cantonese, my maternal grandpa was Hainanese, my maternal grandma was Hakka...

I think among the chinese around the world today, it will be hard to find a pure or undulterated chinese dialect group.

hello, think char kway tiao and fried carrot cake are teochew dishes. Hokkien dishes include, popiah, fried hokkien mee, lor mee, ngo hiang, prawn mee, braised pig''s leg, kong ba bao, mee hoon kway, and so on. NOtice many of the hokkien dishes are with pork, me personally don't really like pork.

Rest assured there is no such thing as a "pure-breed" race.

In fact, there is no such thing as Chinese "race".

More likely a Chinese-origin culture or practices, but certainly not defined in singular genetic terms. Even Singapore's ethnic classification of "Chinese", "Indian" or "Malay" broadly covers other non-race aspects such as ancestral/relgion/language/cultural practices. The closest "genetically pure" race are Africans.

Blacks/Negroes are 95~100% pure Negro genes and chromosomes.
Whites are 75 percent similar to African chromosome.
Asians are 60 percent similar.

Even those puritanical Japaneses have various ethnic and dialect groups within.
