Most of us are not 'Supporting' his arrest......

But felt that he could do more by not getting arrested again & again & again some more....... CSJ will spend more time in jail because he will refuse to pay the fine. And that is more time wasted because he is spending time in Jail..... yet again. Confused

If CSJ intend to change S'pore for the better..... he should spend more time getting support from S'porean, both Young & Old. Talk about issue that affect our life.... cost of living, Housing, CPF, ERP.... etc. Talking about Human Rights is good and noble..... but it doesn't put FOOD on our table or pay our RENT.

If CSJ spend more time on bread and butter issues, he will no longer receive awards from his ang moh counterparts. CSJ can also no longer condemn Singapore abroad. He cannot attempt to claim that he is like Aung San Suu Kyi and Nelson Mandela anymore.

The real issue here is with so many breaches of the same law by foreigners or their own party members going on how is the government going to uphold law and order from now onward without discrimination or double standard.

For example, will the foreign women who gathered outside Burmah embassy with protest placards of all sorts be arrested under the same law being used against Chee Soon Juan.

Will the ruling party arrest its own young pap members for staging a cycing marathon under the same law used against WP for staging its anniversary event.

Will posters of MPs be required to pay the government advertisement licence fees charged on many commercial buildings like the People' Park Centre.

If PAP's members and their respective MPs are allowed such privileges whereas oppositions are prohibited then will they be able to enforce the law or will there be law and order to talk about.

All these recent inequitable treatments of people were the source of our current problems so much so that Professor Ho Peng Kee was unable to give a satisfactory reply to queries.

Let our politicians know that people are unhappy with such double standards and the earlier they change the better for all.

Don't make a bit of noise, PAP regime will not change their attitude.

SDP plays the role of making noise, while WP and others slowly gather the votes by discontented Singaporeans.
