here are my all time favorite memberships I am considering to apply:

1. IDR PR.
2. Australia PR.
3. Taiwan PR but not sure if this is possible since TW is not really a country or is it just a republic of china???? I ignorant leh. But if can, I can be as vocal as TW ppl and take part in their mass ppl activities. I no mean protest. I mean mass activities like mass wash backside activity.

4. Thailand .
5. Vietnam. Maybe can profit from being PR and do business there.

To me, PR is just for personal gains. But I will also contribute to the economy. So, fair game. Even tho I may compete with their rice bowls. But I can use the reason called globalisation to silence them.

well the system can sometimes work for us if you intend to migrate.
i have 2 daughters who are both singapore and aust citizenship.
they can maintain duo until 18yrs old. therafter, they must decide on one.

the Cheapo singapore PR arent fresh news anymore. its not fair to say, they use singaporeans as a stepboard for further opportunity. likewise, our govt use them to help some local companies stay competitive and they are tax.

we should not blame the PR. we should blame the govt for failing to tighening this PR loopholes.

Lotsa malaysians i know staying in aust already gove up their Malaysia citizensship and convert to aust citizen. why arent the malaysian in singapore convert to singaporeans? we all know the reasons. as someone already mention, there isnt much difference at all compare to a citizens. afteall what they see to our CPF, if i am them, when i reach 55 i would return to malaysia, give up my spore PR status and withdrew all my money and say byebye. if my children wants to stay PR, guys must serve NS and woman no need at all.the cycle wll continue!

It is true for PR, there is no difference between local n PR but when come to paying for medical expenses at local govt hospital n school fees, PR need to

pay only slightly more. PR also cannot buy new HDB flat though.

Actually there are still Malaysians converting to Singapore citizen......

I have a friend who was borned in Singapore by Malaysian parents (both father and mother) and was a Malaysia citizen by birth but subsequently he got his PR like his parents and did NS and received his pink IC after ORD considering that how Malaysian Chinese were treated like a 2nd class citizens in their country

As my Malaysian citizen sg pr said, there is no need for him to apply citizenship when he has equal opportunity as citizens living and working and having babies and sg wife and sg condo here.

thus, he can live here for till the next humans extinct and always have a backup plan to fallback on if anything happens in sg while sg'reans do not. this is assuming the sg'reans have not made backup plans. failing to plan is planning to fail. members have privileges. why u not kiasu and apply for more membership? I am trying to get a malaysian pr.
