My salutations to the teacher. As long as he doesn't promote gay culture or values in school...he should be fine and the MOE should do nothing about it.

By appreciating and valuing each other's differences, we become alot more mature. Our country needs to have more diversity in thinking otherwise we will end up being empty headed with a single track vision in life leading to alienation of certain quarters of our population.

Most people fear what they do not understand.

Homosexuality is something totally foreign to heterosexuals, and the very thought of being in a room full of gays will certainly frighten many with repressed mindsets that homosexuality is a disease in its own right.

If Otto was a celebrity with equal status as say...Sir Ian Mckellen, would it be surprising to find the bigot masses more tolerant of his 'affliction'?

Funny how real problems like sex addictions (think self-confessed Michael Douglas) and adultery among married couples are treated with 'acceptable' mindsets, that these things happen due to a ton of excuses, but oh...homosexualty? It's a straight no-no.

Homosexuality is an orientation.

AIDS are spread much more by promiscious heterosexuals. The sheer numbers and proportion speak for themselves.

In any case, the older generation might be primitive, but they have seen enough in their lifetime to realise that change is the only constant. It is mostly the religious extremists who are being a devil's ass about everything.

We are not advocating homosexual sex, but rather the right for homosexuals to live equally in the eyes of the law.

They are much more of a minority than the repressed primitives (whom also enjoy far more legal rights than the former), and so should have a tad more emphasis shown to their cause.

But the good thing about Wicca is that it allows female clergy to perform full duties. The belief in a female creator is also more appealing.
