Nowadays,our ministers seldom speak about serving the country or the ppl.They only talk about giving competitive salaries to attract talents.

Only LKY said he wanted to help those ppl who can't migrate to other countries.He is the cleverest one.Just hope that he is truthful in saying that.

True, this started when lee hsien loong took over as PM. He is just the start of many bad things, and mind you there are more to come from him.

It is no doubt that his sincerity in serving the nation/country/people is questionable. He seems to be serving himself more than the nation, giving himself undeserve super high pay when he does not possess that sort of calibre. What a shame!!!

FTs are not stupid. They know how the gahmen in Singapore is like, and most that I come across don't have really good things to say about them. VEry rarely do I come across FTs who want to become citizens. Even the one from China told me she rather goes back to China after her contract expires than to stay here. She prefers her own country.

Nothing strange lah!When I speak fairly,it doesn't seem to be like most of u who hate the PAP.So i look like an agent!I have to speak like many of u scolding the govt all the times,then i wouldn't be 'strange'.

Unfortunately what u said is true only 85000 PR became citizen for the past decade with already 150000 local already migrated with clear conscience.

800 local have already left. 4 million people but how many PR n other foreigners?

Not only govt leaders can serve the ppl

It is not only govt leaders & politicians can serve the ppl.Govt officers,businessmen,taxi drivers,professionals,mannual workers can serve the ppl or customers.So most of us can serve the ppl.Let us do it sincerely.

I agree with you that there is no such thing as a good monopoly. By a small twist of the mind the original altruistic good-doer can just turn bad and when he does with the power and trust eventually he obtained he will do worse harm than an ordinary bad hat. Such a do-gooder will be hard to beat as he could do bad with a finesse or hypocrisy which cannot be easily stopped.

The sooner the monopolies are abandoned and dismantled the better will lives be for the citizens.
