maybe a prospective minister is thinking ” I would serve my country and its people….but if i do so, i would be making a huge loss in income…..I dont want that sort of sacrifice….” Imagine if ppl like Goh Keng swee, Rajaratnam had that thinking…..

PRP SG

Most ppl are selfish.Just hope that they serve the ppl while getting a good fat remmuneration.

OK, so you have posted so most of us can serve the people. Then you be the one to talk to PAP not to make buying of annuity compulsory. Do this to serve us the people.

Darkness_hacker99 SG

Actually I feel that opposition parties and the PAPies are all serving the country, but why the PAPies wanted to 'get rid' of the oppositions? Neutral

qlqq9 SG

Hello, oppositions are PAP's opponents, of course they want to get rid of them.

Some one out there knows the best is not placed at highest point. Some one out there seems do not mind having thier kins placing at paramount of nation at the expenses of nation’s prosperity. Some one out there is obssessed with power willing and readily to sacrifice citizens’ happiness.

So long they are able to achieve what they want, citizens are nothing to them.

We can afford to do without another yes-man talent of the same ruling party platform but it will be disastrous if we cannot find one non-talent willing to speak up truly for the people.

If those who rule people possess such moral disease, isn't this not national crisis?

YOu are right. Now there is so much uproar from people of Singapore on the CPF changes and the buying of annuity. It is truly oppression. ARe you a working adult, a CPF member? If you are going to be affected, think about it. Go http://www.petitiononline.com/annuity/petition.html if you want to send in any petition.

Thanks to the linkage to the petition. Wink

You are welcome. Do tell as many people as possible about the link.

Last time it was only a saying... Today you just see it ever so clearly... Each time they try to 'do something good', you'll just expect more sh|ts to follow...

Reminds me of people who smile at me yet stabbed me from my back...

Buying annuity would not be compulsory. One can opt out.So I become govt spokeman now.

maurizio13 SG

Same here.

leilan84 SG

at least Bush care about his ppl

Laughing

PRP SG

The above opinion is wrong.PM said buying annuity would be compulsory because it need a large base so that the premium could be low.So I was not a real govt spokman.

PRP SG

PM cares about the ppl too but there is a different degree of care.

justcooler SG

Yap i agree, care of

1) how to
