hiphop2009 SG total bullsh*t la…i wont believe unless both govt release reports abt it, den only i will believe
mancha SG Dr M saw that the tunnel is only one way. The arrow on the tunnel floor points from Singapore to Malaysia. This is for the British to escape in the right direction in the event they have to.That means only Singapore can use it. Malaysia cannot, because it is against the arrow. That's why he so want to demolish the causeway and build the crooked bridge.
Hogzilla SG Good joke. I had a good laugh. I never knew that Dr M is so lame and stupid. I always see him as quite a smart person, though I don't really like him. All one way road are two ways if you ignore the directions indicated. I hope that the above explanation is clear enough. Malaysia wants the Causeway demolish is because it obstructed the sea route from the Johor Port (I forgot the name) to East Asia. If a crooked bridge is built, the ships below will have their freeway WITHOUT the need to bypass Singapore. So Singapore is looking for new industries to replace the loss from Sea trading, then we will seriously consider the demolish of Causeway. But since we haven't succeed in finding one, the Causeway stays.
hiphop2009 SG even so, potentially large ship also cannot pass thru wad.... n 2nd link also cant really let large ship pass thru... so wads the fuss?.... if dere is really a tunnel, den it should be two ways, nt one. if the "tunnel" only can be entered by the singapore side and cannot exit at msia side, den wad is dere to fear??....
Tayysj SG Actually there is proof of this tunnel.. either API or SPI investigated this already. someone found its entrance in a forest north of singapore.. stomp got post this also i think.. i'll check around and see whether I can get the links again
Tayysj SG Found references to this tunnel from various sources. sometimes referred to as Marsiling Dungeons.. yet sometimes some say the tunnels and dungeons are separate entities. regardless.. oh other "references" are like "sembawang tunnel" "underground piping facility near causeway" etc. but they might be different things.. SingaporeTyrannosaur SG There was some talk Dr. M wanted to blow billions on the crooked bridge just to open up a limited seaway and prevent the SAF from easily crossing... With all due respect... I doubt using the causeway figures strongly into SAF invasion plans (if any)... and no matter how crooked, as long as it's a bridge the tanks are coming over.
