If Durai controlled NKF for personal profit, how about PAP?

That's a very serious problem in Singapore. Don't you think so?

LazerLordz SG

And that's where you have the need for international institutions to act as a check on national governments should they prove to be untrustworthy.

No state can sustain internalised checks and balances and hope to say that transparency has been seen to be active.

i agree. Neutral

temasek 100% owned by the ministry of finance also using taxpayers monies to invest and are earning billions of dollars per year.. do we ever get a share of it??

Matilda's boobs are big that why TT Durain like it!!! Mr. Green

Lowclassman SG

What credits he deserve?

All his tactics were gathered or copied from states or Hong Kong's Charity Organisations of convincing the public to donate............................Somebody else would do likewise but not as greedy or dirty as he was!!!

KNN....even all his food expenses and.....se..... was claimed from NKF. Basically.....he is not spending a single cent out of his salaries....what a SG Elite..... Laughing

Lowclassman SG

We are NOT getting any smelling of its profits.

The elites are paying themselves sky high salaries, bonuses, dividends, perks and etc.

Agree!!! They are effective in gaining more for themselves!!!

What we contribute to the country are just know hoe to KPKB!!!

Same thinking as Mr Du (pig)!!!!who think he knows the ex and present queens (peanut n pie ching) then he is the king in Spore, poor thing,he must know the real emperor is Lee KY

ShutterBug SG

If that is really the case, then Durai's a very well paid ScapeGoat.

And I'm of the opinion that without us paying through our noses over the decades, the Lees wouldn't have all the money that they now call their's.

If you ask me what I would like this black worm to receive as punishment, I'd have both his kidneys removed, so that he has to be hooked up to the dialysis machine the rest of his days - or until his money runs out....

We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.

charlize SG

Knn, you got this quote from one of Dean R Koontz's book.

Darkness Comes?

Quoted from the Book of counted sorrows.

"Who is more foolish? The child afraid of the dark? Or the man afraid of light?"

no wonder I thought it sounds familiar...

Insensitive fellow. Rolling Eyes

Do you think they know what the hell did Durai did to all the donations?

Do you think they know Durai travelled first class, live in expensive hotels, all these at the expense of donors' money?

Do you think they know Durai is a Board of Director for so many companies without SPH exposing him?

Do you think all these will happen if he hadn't spoke the "wrong thing" when he was grilled by the lawyers?

ndmmxiaomayi SG

He would already be a bankrupt if the charges stay. There's no need to be so evil and make life so hard for him that he feels he might be better off dead.

caleb_chiang SG

It is just like a kettle calling a pot black. They just wanna kill the person who start the uprise before they realise that someone had been doing that. With the uprising of GST and the constant taxes that they implimented, it's no wonder the poor get poorer and the rich get richer. Evil or Very Mad

ShutterBug SG

No no no... living the life of the Rich & Famous at the expense of working people's money under the guise of charity for the sick, is totally UNFORGIVABLE in my eyes.

(human) SG

I won't say is foolish. Cool

av98m SG

Yes there is. Laughing
