This is precisely what I believe the deceased must have already
done, before turning to suicide. Suicide is not something anyone
can easily resort to, unless there is truly no avenues left. And
you know how RELENTLESS our gov is in collecting moneys that are
due to them, eg. Singapore Power.
The system and policies put in place by our 'all knowing' gov., is
too stiff and unbending (blind to circumstances of genuine
needies), in that it refuses to see the individual's futile efforts
to find employment due to the over-supply of FWs, & PRC FWs,
taking up all these menial jobs.
Upgrading one's skills is indeed the way to go, BUT, as I've said;
if your house is on fire, you can ill afford to look for a better
pail than the leaky one you have to fetch water to put out the
fire.
Oxford Mushroom easily brushes this off as an excuse, but has
anyone tried seeking help from gov before? CPF as an example,
stipulates that you must be no lesser than paralysed from the neck
down, before they even consider giving you SOME of your OWN money
to tie you over!!
Our gov will never respond to such incidences, they will ignore and
brush it off as ISOLATED INCIDENCES, not their fault that people
can't catch up in the race they started. (!!!)
For and to this, I say our gov is ROYALLY FARKED UP!!!!!!
