Nowadays, most of the teens don't read the newspaper frequently
or at all. Whenever question is asked on them for eg current
affairs and etc. We don't know anything. This will not potray a
good image on our country as we don't know any of the current
affairs in which in the later part if they take the habit it will
be difficult or too later then.
The government should encourage schools to let us read the
newspaper everyday, so that talent will be developed among our
pupils and the government do not need to search for foreign talent
as we, Singaporeans have talent too but we cannot show it out as we
are not given the opportunity to do so.
