With this type of thinking 
"They will stay there and not move forward"
They will doom to failure right from the start.
As seen in the water issue also, MY think they can use water as a
bargaining chip, but now they think otherwise liao because SG is
now becoming self sufficient in water. And when the water treaty
expires, SG can say "No thank you, we dun need ur water from now
on"
And the most laughable part is, from SG independence till now, they
STILL have this kind of thinking.
