Dear all, Lets give sportsmandom a break. He has his view and we have ours. We should refrain from being like the pap and our ranked 140th media, forcing o...

dont even try to sue him. why? coz they have the whole drew and napier company at his side or party side. look who bring down the NKF saga? how many senior legal counsel at PAP.

Davinder Singh, the sole lawyer who can dismantle an entire empire all by himself! God-mode! Rolling Eyes

When you team up the best with the best, you get an invincible team that can challenge any opposition. It's like forming a political team with the greats in history :

Hitler + General Yamashita + Napoleon + Qin Shihuang + Cao Cao +...... = Team of Gods.

Do you realise we all serve a Master who can fine you anytime you chew a gum, say a word wrongly, forget to give back your income taxes in good time, In short we all lived a fine Country. fines and fine , do you see the difference? Question [/b]

So you mean that you dont mind having your hair stucked with chewing gum tht was left over by some kid on the bus seat? Do you mean that everyone has the right to delay tax payments? Think of the big picture my friend.. The fines help to develop Singapore into a more habitable place... You win some, you lose some...

freakass SG

Without him, we are called Malaysians... and you may not have the chance to use the Internet to chat in Sgforums... Maybe....

freakass SG

Shallow statement... very shallow... Japan has a great government... Hong Kong was governed by the British... Korea so-so only... Taiwan?! Oh gosh, the only country where ministers fight during meetings... If WW2 has helped countries to develop, why are there still 3rd world countries around? Some of them participated in the world war too....

duotiga83 SG

ok....MM Lee = Kira Yamato = GOD Mr. Green

duotiga83 SG

so...in layman term....we MUST RELY ON HIM ALL THE WAY HE DIED? Mr. Green

valentinoo SG

aiya..just give this Singapura back to the Malays lah..and u guys go back to where ur ancestors come from... Laughing

freakass SG

It's not a matter or reliance... We are obliged to give him due respect and recognition for what he did.. Even if you do not like the way he goverened Singapore, he did play a part in making what Singapore is today... I do not see the need to defame him so badly....

duotiga83 SG

Q: Does he have the RESPECT FOR US? Mr. Green

Lowclassman SG

Pap won...because there are many big organisations are almost under or indirectly under the GLC or tomasick...all these people work in these organisations dare to vote against their papman bosses??? simple logic...the strategy of LKY has successfully put control over the singapore. Mr. Green

BillyBong SG

Plenty of respect has been afforded to him. But is his 'almighty' able to reciprocate?

Hardly.

It seems he, staying true to his PAP logo, has begun a 'blitzkrieg' assault on everything from the credibility of candidates to the WP manifesto and now insisting that only the PAP has the 'right' answers and the opposition provide nothing but 'empty talk'.

valentinoo SG

exactly...most r too scared to vote against em..constantly thinking..will we be blacklisted? Laughing

duotiga83 SG

aiya....shld built a temple for him.....since he is "God-status" liao....so must "worship" him Mr. Green

How true.

Only the foolish would vote for the opposition just because they are irked by the arrogance and complacent attitude of the Ruling party.

They should be voted for the right reasons and not because of some emotional tandrem.

And why should you even talk about whether the opposition can govern SG better than the Ruling Party? The issue is already moot.

The discussion should be whether they are capable of running a GRC town council better than the Ruling Party. Have you been so sidewinded by the speeches and rhetorics of the Ruling Party that you bought into their story of the opposition incapable of running SG?

They are using macro-issues to circumvent the multiple micro-issues that the opposition have raised, all with merit; that are now being totally sidestepped and hoodwinked by the Ruling Party.

And ask yourself this: with the quality of candidates that the WP has presented, do you for a moment doubt that it is INDEED POSSIBLE for them to run a GRC town council well if not better than the Ruling Party?

Why do you think the Ruling Party are so quick and sharp in their attacks, so eager to target individuals and not really addressing the policies and alternatives raised by opposition candidates?

For the first time in 3 elections, they are genuinely afraid of the opposition. Led by the WP, there is no doubt that they pose a serious threat.

freakass, let's just not feed the narrow-minded anymore. Perhaps, some of these people just have to learn things the hard way. Vote for the opposition if you so think they can be more capable than the PAP because you have the right. I am thankful that the opposition just does not have the substance, but if they do, I wish all of us good luck because we certainly would need a lot of it.

gill_hfc SG

listen ass kisser. singapore was not a success solely because of Mr LKY. There were many other founding fathers. What about Toh Chin Chye. Mr Jeyaratnam etc. We owe nothing to Mr. Lee. Remember he is paid a million dollars a year. Its yours and my money. He doesnt work for free!
