In either case, life is terminated whether termination is by
killing with a rope or execution by a single bullet.
Madrasah is for the training of muslim teachers, not run
by the state and certainly not for educating extremists. In fact,
the state is watching closely so that Madrasah do not produce
extremists.
It is true that Madrasah is not run by the government. The state
did try to influence the way Madrasah is run to avoid producing
extremists.
States with anti terrorists laws, tight control of check
points, arrest of JI suspects under ISA....are all actions that
seek out terrorists.
Suspected terrorists arrested would be hanged if they were found
with weapons or explosives.
The state appears to compromise with terrorists by being more
lenient with them in punishments but not the drug traffickers who
will definitely have his life terminated or executed upon technical
possession of a certain amount of drug even though he may be just
caught in economic plight to have committed a terrible wrong of
drug trafficking.
"Just because you cannot stop osama so you don't go all
out to preempt and shoot terrorists" IS THE MOST STUPID PROPOSITION
EVER MADE.
Osama will not give up terrorism. He is worse than drug kings or
the errant runners who did the running due to his plight or
economic desparation. Yet, the state does not seek to punish
terrorists caught for involvements with death sentence even if he
has full intention to kill many people with suicide bombs.
If state must punish anyone with death penalty, let there be equity
with proper recognition which deserve death penalty more -
technical trafficking of drugs without actually killing life or
someone going all out to kill others with suicide bombs.
Crimes and punishments befitting the motives and circumstances of
commissions have to be studied again to avoid inequitable
treatments.
