What is a good govt? Our govt comes close really. I came to the
conclusion after travelling around the world and seeing how other

South-east Asian countries too ? 
Big talk about spending time to understand the system and life so

How long did you placed your butt in each of these countries long
enough to understand the depth of the socio-political culture of
these countries ?
By the way, Myanmar and Iran only allow you a 14 to 30 day visit
pass - and such a short period will certainly help "no brainers" to
understand all that is needed to make those famous "one-liners".
I like our govt because it is very focused on governing and not on
politics like other countries. If you have opposition for the sake
of it, our advantage may be lost.

What should we call the uninvited advise from the supposed "Ruling
Elites" to the Workers Party Manifesto ?

Yes, the imperfections of Marcos and Saddam was to send out
MILLIONS to overseas bank accounts opened under different names.
Our Government send BILLIONS overseas ANNUALLY after collecting on
a daily basis from the NEGLIGIBLE accounts of Singaporeans, and we
have no clue as to where OUR money has gone to, who is responsible
in operating those funds and investments, or who will be
accountable for the losses incurred.
They make very good long term decisions most of the time
and any mistake they made was not due to selfish
reasons.
Surely we can believe your statement that after paying
themselves MILLION DOLLAR SALARY and making wrong decisions in
sending our money overseas - are not made with selfish reasons.
A lot of people may not like the system, wait till they go to USA
or Europe or Taiwan. You will cry paying taxes thru your nose and
the govt spends your money on welfare for loafers and illegal
immmigrants and other nonsensical ways.
Hey, the Chief Justice in the USA can tell the President that he
is wrong to wire tap the citizens' phone calls; can our Singapore
Chief Justice do this to any of the Ruling Elite from the Ruling
Political Party ?
In Switzerland - a country that Singapore aspire
to be - has a bigger land area and nearly double the population
size of Singapore; but have a more consultative Politcal System
that give more extensive Political Rights to every
Swiss Citizen than Singaporeans hope to get from our Government.
If we aspire to be a country that belong to the FIRST WORLD, we
need to change our Political System that allow us to PROGRESS
POLITICALLY into the FIRST WORLD.
First of all, we need to change all the "no brainer, one-liner"
attitude so as to be able to be a member of the First World.
