Blood suckers.They got excess flats and not willing to sell them cheap to those who can’t afford. Instead they want to put on resale market to get more profit. Worse, they build more new flats and sell around resale price.

they dont just earn from the price difference. the killer blow is the compounded interest from the loan given out to buyers.

there are 800 thousand hdb households. do the calculation. they are making billions from it.

btw not all are sold at 90k only. there are 4,5 rm flats too.

Now that you can borrow from the banks to finance your housing loans, it is not HDB who are making the billions. I am sure the respectable people at HDB has nothing to do with the bankers.

I truely repect HDB leaders for making standard square flats that are of very comfortable size that is VERY easy to clean. Also you get the benefit of staying so close with so many fellow singaporeans. Plus, you get to hear free orchestra drilling music every now and then! Not to forget, the HDB volunteer to retrieve your flat after 99 years to rebuild them!

What considerate leaders we have at the HDB!

Ya bro. Agreed with you.Used to be subsidized until the property bubble burst. Now the prices of property dropping like stone, HDB still not lowering the price of new flats. Really blood suckers.

But in fairness, if HDB follows the rest of the market and adjusts flat prices downwards significantly, it will in turn affect the resale value of all the older flats.

After that, a lot more people will kau beh kau bu blame HDB for having negative equity.

my sister bought a resale 5 room flat in tampines.

heard that the price has dropped by about 50k.

to solve their own problems the govt will do anything.
