completely BS. I never heard anything like that from any
mainland chinese (me included).
my impression is the opposite. few still want to be chinese in
s'pore, most are bananas who know little chinese and self-loathing
ang mo wannabes who despise chinese. I remember a while ago there
is a poll by the strait times for s'pore kids:"if given a choice,
what would you want to be?", majority kids rather chose to be blond
haired blue eyed ang mo than chinese. clearly many s'poreans and
parents have self-esteem issues, and it's affecting their
kids.
do you have any source or did you pull that from your ass?
besides, there is no definition of 100% pure blood chinese, not
even in China. Chinese gets to be the biggest race on earth not
because our ancestors were virile and sexholics, but because
chinese culture kept expanding and absorded sorrounding people.
being chinese is a cultural thing, not a genetic thing.
