When people don't care, then they forfeit the right to oppose
unpopular policies like COE, ERP, GST, minister's pay, healthcare
costs, etc. It is a pity that Singapore, though not lacking of
bright young intelligent people since independence, is unable to
present a strong credible political opposition to contend with the
incumbent party today.
