actually we are alredi experiencing slower growth, 3% to 4%,
while it used to be two digit growth two decades ago
i am not sure about lower population ,since sg is moving from
industrialisation to capital intensive industries...
but we may not have enough people to support the intellectual
growth we need, ie, sufficient people to work in bio medical
industries
some of these industries support the economy, and in this case, i
seriously dont support lower growth, as it means we are less
competitive..
sg is basically too small, we have to work hard to keep up or to
remain ahead, if ever we shall say, lets take a break, we are in
for trouble...
if ever we shall see singapore being less attractive to work in by
foreign workers, we have rely back on our population to do the jobs
we used to dislike, ie, contruction works
