Heard of the term 'Jing Di Zhi Wa'? (Frog in the well). It's a
Chinese term to refer to people who have narrow vision and
perspectives - because they are like a frog stuck deep inside a
well, what they can see of the world out there is this tiny circle
which is the opening of the well way above. And the little they can
see constitutes the entire world to them.

intend to flame the entire female population here, he would've been
more careful in his use of word. Elindra is entirely correct re.

and rephrased his topic but I'm starting to suspect what's the

You may know of 100 women who can't cook and so, the 'typical' SG
girl to you cannot cook. Well, surprise! I know of 100 women who
work hard to contribute to the dual family income, who cook when
they get home from work, who contribute fairly, sometimes the
lion's portion even, to household expenses, are good, loving and
faithful wives and so, to me, they are your 'typical' SG girls. My
point is, it's utterly ridiculous to make sweeping statements that
have the audacity to presume knowledge of the pulse of the ENTIRE
SG female population and then sit back and boast about paper
qualifications, how learned one is, how rich, what sorta jetsetting
lifestyle, the perfect foreign wife, etc etc. yada yada
yada...
Let me prescribe some OTC drugs ... because I sense some major
flatulence issue with a huge build up of hot air.
I say, live and let live. You wrong those of us sg girls who live
with moral standards, are true to ourselves and remain loving and
faithful to our loved ones, struggling to make a decent living
side-by-side, true to commitment 'to love and to cherish, in good
times and bad'. Guys who have a bone to pick because of their own
sad experiences sound petty and truly effeminate to me, with all
the senseless ranting and raving. Let people live the lives they
desire, should they choose to be materialistic or otherwise. And
once more, to know 10 materialistic girls in no way mean that the
ENTIRE sg female population is materialistic!!!
