Hmm...the only German warship that was sunk around these parts during WWI was the Emden, and I believe it was a cruiser, not a battleship. Correct me if I'm wrong. The Emden was a commerce raider that caused quite a bit of consternation in 1916. Even the Japanese (on the side of the Allies during WWI) was hunting for it.

Yes dude. Coco Islands are not part of Singapore but part of British Straits Settlements handed over to Aussie on 1955. The islands are only two coral atolls.

Papua (Irian Jaya) was not part of Indonesian empire. But when the Dutch left, the Indons took over the remains of the Dutch East Indies.

Whatever belonged to the Straits Settlements or the British Crown Colony of Singapore should by right remain with Singapore when Spore was given self rule.
