The hell I'm proud!
I like it here, my friends ae here, my family's here and all my
money's made here! Of course I love it here! At least here, I don't
have to be a bloody Bumi to get anywhere.
My place in uni was acquired through merit and every single
employer I've worked for didn't employ me because of skin
colour.
And of course you're proud of your country. You should be if your
little brown 'brudders take good care of its own kind. But thats
not how we prefer to live.
So you bought new stuff! OK already! I am sick and tired of
listening to this garbage. Yes, you have a rapid deployment force,
so tell Mahathir to use it... if he dares... Let us all burn in
hell together after that.
The MLRS are still in Brazil for your info... and it takes awhile
before new weapons are integrated and acquire OP status... Think!
Your country didn't just buy a kettle or a microwave which u can
just plug in and use!
Catching up with our airforce? one suggestion: PLAN! think about
it! has your people every showed any consistency or long term
planning in arms purchase? If anything, its the MAF thats more for
show and on paper than the SAF.
Yes, MAF has sent UN observers, peacekeepers and cannon fodder to
Somalia and lotsa other places. So?? Does it make them
bullet-proof? I for one thing, am not fussy about the small arms I
use... M16, SAW, MG or even the SAR21... If it pumps lead, I can
use it. Don't need a space-age phaser for an infantryman to do his
job...
Grow up boy... This is a DISCUSSION FORUM on the INTERNET! If you
don't agree, state your objection in a matured manner or don't
come! No need to get personal or abusive here.
Nobody here wants war. Singapore is not the Israel of Asia. But I
bet we wouldn't mind taking on that role when push comes to
shove... Defence is so hotly debated here precisely because if we
didn't have it, belligerent warhogs like you would be crying for
war at every juncture.
