All of you love ur other half so much
mine abandoned me after i enlisted so filled with grief when i
finished the 24km march,
somedays during bmt i would email her, writing down mine thoughts
and how much i missed her,i suppose all mine mails went into the
junk folder........................
no one turned out at the end, mine shoulder numb, mine feet sore and
heavy.
i felt so lonely ...for whom i had marched? for whom i had
suffered?
no answer, did not bother to think, went home shower, sleep.
Before we broke up,she told me before...if you are an officer i
would love you more, pick you out every time you book out,it was a
casual remark ......but it affected me ,back then i replied what if
i keng and be a clerk?
her response was dun throw mine face.....at least must be in a
combat unit with rank or elite unit, dun be weak.......
Now i am not an officer or a specialist
i am a reece trainee
i promised mineself to push mine limits to excel for we are the
eyes and ears of our army
upon the completion of mine course,i will don the jungle hat and
finally earn the right to be called a reece and the right to eat
with out queuing.
I had a choice to stay put or to be a normal infrantry man,but i
had decided that, there comes a time whereby every man needs to
prove his worth, mine's here ,mine chance is here.
At times where i really feel dejected,i wanted someone to share
mine pain and joys ,your boyfriend would need your support even
after bmt,it is in unit where the real thing starts
till today i have a laminated copy of mine ex photo everytime when
i really feel like giving out,i would look at it...........inside
of me i thought to mineself...this is the women whom you love and
treasured so dearly, and yet she feels that you are someone that is
insignificant.Do you want to continue and prove that she is
right?,are you weak?..
something along that line,i am motivated both by mine ego's needs
and mine pain.
It is a very negative kind of motivation, and i hope that no one
follows mine example....please support and love ur bf ,mine mates
around me during their fieldcamp ,most of them received notes from
their loved ones,in the admist of despair they laugh and cried at
the same time, after that session everyone's morale went a knot
higher.
yea so i feel family support is impt ....
Ahead Always, Reece
