Ts,
One could be in love with the feeling of love n being loved. That
in intself is not necessarily loving the other. It is the
appreciation that one receives and ti an opiate and creates
dependency. The giver is the pusher and the one who receives
becomes an addict!
One has to be self-honest abd that is not easy n nigh impossible
cos, falling in love – is the collapse of what one is as opposed to
what one thinks one is.
I would never say it is wrong to fall in love, but i would add
that it essentail that one never makes decisions or act out one’s
emotions impulsively cos the tendency is to succumb ti one’s
felings.
Love never destroys relationships/marriages or … but something else
pretending love. Most likely needs/expectations is the mainstay n
in the long run pain/misery/fear/anxiety awashes(dominates) the
psychological landscape and it is constant conflict.
One who respects himself/herself would not want that for oneself
nor want it for another especially more so when one purports to
love.
Only being self-honest and understanding these conditionings and
lack of … may free oneself and enhance another’s ….
Maybe you are right, I have to learn more from all of you, thank
you very much for your help
