I think your situation is so much better than mine. At least you
are with your hubby and it IS Singapore! I am in a rural town in
Japan call Matsusaka and there nothing here except for a few
supermarkets and rice fields. The most interesting shop here is a
pet shop. I am struggling with the language, and thus I hardly
spoke to anyone. I think in a whole week, I hardly spoked more than
5 sentences to anyone. Couped up in the hostel, my only companion
is my Ipad2. Day in day out, I am just waiting for December to
come, so that I can return home to Singapore...
Mine is worst, in the high mountain of Mei shan in taiwan, a nunery
monastary, cannot even see anyone, cannot go near men or farmers,
morning must go ask for food, and those alisan tribe speaks some
kind of old mingnan which I also dunno what the heck they are
talking, so, I usually get laughed at by them, then at nite, no
electricity, it was so cold, hv to burnt woods for hot water to
bathe and make tea and maggie mee, but then life goes on, we choose
to be there, what to do? nobody put a damn gun on yr head to be
there ya. However, as long as you are happy with your love ones,
like mine, happy to be with my master nun, heckcare who talk or dun
talk?? Supermarket?? here even mama shop also dun have.
