oops sorry...thought u were a guy.....yes,,,,girls still sign on navy.....one of the best chiobu all go sign on navy...normally 3 or a group ina ship.

think back in 2005 they had accident with ship and 3 gals were drowned after navy ship collided with tanker at night....but its all worth it!!girls are regarded as goddess in the military.all kowtow to u even if u got no rank.

i know about chiobu gals in navy after i saw tcs interview one navy gal about her frend who went missing up to today in the navy accident,gal look so beautiful especially in the uniform.

for money-wise,i think theres ship allowance on board ship....and free food.......optional lodgings on ship or base.......and when u think u can study again go do their degree course or something.....but downside is i heard theres PP1 or pp2 which means they might not retain peopleafter first or second contract depending on performance.heard from rumours the pp1 or pp2 retaining thing has been thrown away...not sure,,,best ask interviewer or CPMB clerk there.

??discouraging???u mean u afraid???..............well other places like army n airforce got no accomodation to stay back in camp.only got free food and salary.but if they see u scared to die i think they throw u out b4 u step into any base or camp.

In S'pore, to qualify to be a counsellor, you need a MSc in Clinical Psychology or Counselling.

I am still very far from that since i've only attended MHFA and basic counselling courses etc so i'm more qualified to give supporting help etc and totally not qualified to give proper counselling.

The problem is not out there somewhere - all that u are and u suffer is cos (guess) is u are always comparing yourself and comparison is a disease.

Also u are being self-conscious - which means u are disconnected from what u are. what u think of yourself is not what u are. What u are is always WHAT U ARE NOT.

Till u accept and understand that - u can do and still u will feel lost.

My suggestion is that u UNlearn the way u look at life n people and take it from there.

PS - Wayne Dyer's Your Erroneous Zones is a 'good' start!

Hmm...Xiaobunbun i think u should find a stable job.perhaps the kind that works afew days in a week (so u can study too?), in that way u will at least have a stable income.

Money is the root of all evil, solve the money problem first.

When u made it to private poly get a few close friends, friends are wonderful angels that lights up our lifes. Choose the correct friends and you will get the support and understanding that u cannot get from home. Then perhaps you will find the strength to carry on. Life always goes in a V shape, just have to hold on and last through the low times =)
