As for me, trust is
not a principle where as it is a system. I develop it myself and
maybe u can do the same or develop your own. First u need to rate
the person u wanna trust just like the belt system in martial art.
There have the basic level which is white belt and all the way to
the highest which is the black belt.
After that, u need
to rate the info u wanna share same as the belt system. The info
that belong to the white belt level u can share it with anyone u
like, info just like where got big sale, where got sell the best
seafood. Where as the black belt info level u can only share it
with pple that are close. Your cpf account, you saving and
etc.
The last thing u
need to do is to group the pple around u into 3 groups. Friends,
family members and work colleagues. U need to group your info into
the 3 groups too. Work info, family info and lastly friend
info.
Whenever u met a
stranger, there isn’t any trust because u do not know the person.
Be it in work place or outside and even online. Family members
exclude. So if u like that person and become friend, u give him the
basis trust which is the white belt level. Trust have to be earn,
as time goes by, u can upgrade that person into the next
level…green belt, yellow belt and eventually the black belt (total
trust). U can also downgrade the person from black belt all the way
back to white belt too, reason being that things will change and
pple also change.
If the person has
change to someone that u can only give them your basic trust then
downgrade them. I tell u, there are this type of pple that u cant
even give them the basic trust, so u have to judge
yourself.
The info u wanna
share also work the same. They are info that can only be share
among your family members only, u don’t want to share it with your
friend or your colleague
even they earn a
black belt level of trust from u. then again it apply to work place
too. there are some sensitive info that only can share with within
your company and not your friend or your family member.
There are also info
that can only be share with your boss and some that involve in a
project and not to everyone in the company.
This also apply the
same as friend info. there are things u can share with your friend
but not with to your family member. Some friend u can share very
personal thing but not all of your friends. So u have to judge
accordingly.
