By right it should be that way,New Operators spending tons of
$$$$ just to repair those ex-SBS/SMB Plate buses!GA already have
headache with most of the SBS Plate buses not including DDU/NOBE
wiring problems. The SG plate Citaros and B9TLs is far more better
than those SBST transfered buses.
IMHO,Just let 100 E500s share between GA and TT with SG
B9TLs.SBS1-20 and the newest Citaros/B9TLs can also distribute
among TT/GA.Some SG plate A22s can also share among those two
Operators if possible.
TT:Citaros/A22s/E500s/B9TLs/A95s
GA:Citaros/A22s/B9TLs/A95s
I believe that it was already stated in the tenders document
that new/old buses will be used n the operators definitely have to
calculate the maintainance cost accordingly.
If every new package all use new buses go where find all these
new buses? Then SBST/SMRT keep all those old excess buses parking
everyday inside depots ?
if the operators are getting only new buses, then SBST/SMRT when
negotiating with LTA On the negotiated package will tell LTA that
they will use only new buses as well.
