Can't but should have 34M that loops back from Tampines Ave 7 with DDs. Anyway, main load for 34 is to Tampines from Punggol and not to CGA.

Agreed. Most people rather take 27 from Tampines Ave 4/5, then go directly to PIE non-stop to the airport... If take 34, got to take Tampines Ave 2, before getting onto the TPE, which means a longer running time... Also, better frequency for 27.

Not yet, building aren't up...so i guess it's not fully developed but rather developing bah?

Jurong East Central area..govt gonna develop it as though it is another Marina Bay..till now a few residential projects are ongoing and they are building a hospital and at least 2-3 more shopping malls there...

Places to be develop with MRT and bus interchange is Tengah(5 years from now),Bidadari(7 years),Marina South(10 years),Woodlands North(6 years?) & Tampines North(6 years?)..No news of Simpang though.Tuas West i dunno how to describe it..no residential areas

Sim pang roads have been marked.

Bukit Batok, Bukit Gambok, CCK also have lot of place to develop. Also all area around Brickland road.

Jurong east and Boon Lay almost all HdB done I think. Only business buildings, malls, hospital coming up in Jurong east. See no new development in Pandan or Teban as well as Jurong west/east ave all buildings up... Correct me if I am wrong...

Hi mr carbikebus, of course you are talking about tampines town which is conferred as the jewel of the east. It is a mature town and furthermore it is one of the major towns as far as east of Singapore is concerned. Moreover, tampines ave 7 is super close to what else? Singapore changi airport! It is one of the roads that leads to the expressway to airport. So it is not surprising to me that you can find high traffic even at wee hours in the night. Cheers.

Yes coz people along CCK have grown.

You must not also forget that 188 does ply Bukit Batok West Aves 6, 3, 2, 4, 7 and 5... These places also contribute to the load hugely, since they are near to IMM and IBP.

That place is much less busier at night as it does not serve much heartlands as compared to Ave 7. More car users stay at flats along Ave 2/7/9 than those along Ave 5/1.

And Ave 5 is further away from CGA than Ave 7.

Both are busy and have easy access to cga depending on where in Tampined you stay.

Unusual observation: 2 buses on Sv 333 left interchange am peak at same time.

08.34am - 333 (23 pax)

08.35am - 333 (01 pax)

even if first bus is late, does it even make sense to deploy non high-loading service at same time from interchange. I am sure the second bus went empty through out and on return with not more than 05/08 pax on board.

2 sbs 62 bunch along hougang ave 1, lorong ah soo at 10.15am on 30-04-2014. It is rather surprising that at this sort of timing which office and production workers are already working and sbs 62 will still bunch. This is really one of the rare cases and there is no gimmick because I am sitting on one of the sbs 62. Cheers.

sv62 loop service bunching up is a daily occurence especially during peak hours, at 1015am , the set of buses are the last few before the peak timing ends, heavy traffic at Hougang Ave 3/2(even though bus lane), Macpherson Rd are the main causes

Most loop services have this issue - that's why I am not in favor of them.

Even a short loop service like 116 has started bunching though frequency is 10-12 minutes. Observed few days back at NEX first bus got around 15/20 pax in AM and next bus got less than 5 if I remember correctly.

What I don't understand is how services leave interchange in bunched manner. See example of 333 above your post. It is such a waste to do that. Full route travel together and both buses not even seated capacity.

Hi mr BusAnalyser, yes first bus for sbs333 must be late already. So 2nd bus still has to leave as it is scheduled on time. It is not easy to withdraw the bus driver on duty at the very last minute for the 2nd bus. Moreover, along the journey, there may be too many people waiting at the bus stops. So when the 2 buses come together, some will choose bus 1 while some choose bus 2. You cannot expect people all flock to bus 1 as people are able to check the bus arrival timings through apps and they will know whether that bus service is being short-changed if it runs 1 bus lesser than normal. People will not understand that the first bus was late. Rather they will think of it as being irregular and point the finger at sbs transit for reducing the frequency if 1 bus is short. Cheers
