There is no bus stop along Seletar West Link and even if there is one it will jam the road because that road is supposed to link Yishun & CTE. An overhead bridge/crosswalk cant do it either as there is no space because nexf to the road is a dense forest

386 looks very messy. It's another case of 42 - in & out loop that passengers must endure. And you would need to endure it twice in both directions.

As for 117, can't people just walk out? Build an overhead bridge or put a crosswalk if needed.

yes. nothing will be confusing with it being amended in and best part is no stops are skipped and there has been another service 103 that has been plying the exact route from Jalan Kayu to Yishun Ave 1 beforehand. Cheers

All, latest round of BSEP for Q2 2016 is announced. Implementation date is 24 April 2016. Affected services are sbs 117 and sbs 386, both Punggol bus services.

1. Sbs 117 is amended to ply west camp road instead of seletar west link. This provides coverage to youth flying club and ST airport services.

2. Sbs 386 is extended further up to edgedale plains end, with the same type of loop at 2 bus stops (1 stop going to Punggol mrt, 1 stop to Punggol east). It will continue to loop at Punggol east/central (Blk 162B bus stop) and serve all other bus stops. This will benefit waterway view and sundew residents.

Tampines,Hougang,Sengkang and Punggol is the only place that i can think of..Depends how fast on their expansion.

(2) Sengkang Feeder to Compassalve Crescent / Anchorvale Crescent

(3) Pasir Ris short trunk to Tampines Ave 8 / St 86 and intra-town in Tampines

(4) Sengkang West trunk service to Whompoa/Toa Payoh

(5) Changi Business Park service to Bedok North Estate/Chai Chee

(6) Eunos to Kaki Bukit / UBI North Industrial Estate, Bartley Road East short trunk service

(7) Sembawang feeder to Canberra Estate or short trunk from Canberra to Yishun via Canberra Estate

(8) Short trunk service/feeder between Bukit Panjang and Cashew/Chestnut and Hillview (maybe make 177 full day also)

(9) Short trunk service to Whompoa (convert 139M to short trunk service doing Teneraman road)

(10) Short trunk service to Corporation Road (could be diversion of some existing service like 246). This part of Corproation is not well connected apart from 178.

(11) Joo Koon trunk service to Tuas South new Industrial estate (areas not covered by 182)

(12) Convert 143M into short trunk service to cater to Penjuru Road new HDB. Could be service 202 like Jurong East -> Townhall Road -> AYE -> Penjuru -> WC -> Teban Gardens -> Townhall Road -> Jurong East.

Hi mr busanalyser, there is another BSEP for Punggol coming up too. Sbs 50/62/85 will ply the additional pair of bus stops along Punggol east directly opposite the waterwoods condo. I predict it should be June 2016. Cheers. Thanks.

Joo Koon already congested unless 182 extend to Tuas West and loop around JK Circle.

All, besides sbs 117 amendment and 386 extension which are under BSEP banners in posters, there is also sbs 21. However the poster does not have BSEP logo. So should not be under BSEP. Anyway, sbs 21 is amended into Jalan tenteram and serve 2 bus stops. Implementation date is also 24 April 2016. Cheers. Thanks.
