What so suprised?Even express 518 crawling like mad.LTA logic,12 mins 3 bus stops,Then another case 12mins for 8 bus stops..What the hell..

Sometimes I wonder if these people know what a semi-express service means.

Hi mr array88, normal bus services with similar distance 20km+ like 117 runtime is 60 min. So semi-express bus services with same distance 20km+ like 129 runtime should be faster than 60 min given it is semi-express? How come they make it 90 min? Cheers. Thanks.

I think only 80mins.You must take note the route svc 129 passby,Too many jam proned areas.

All, for those HDB flats along tampines concourse road, service 127 and 969 act as feeder bringing them to tampines interchange. Haha. Cheers. Thanks.

Hi mr SMB1368T, I am on service 129 now. Service plate SG1172T. Departure from tampines concourse int: 11.18am. Yes both service 127 and 129 have DDs. Even the loop service 127 also put DD. Cheers. Thanks.

All revenue for LTA,969 previously express till TPE bus stops. Those new citizens reside along concourse complained having to walk to MRT/Int.

So far only spotted 3 Citaros on 129

All, whole journey for service 129 is exactly an hour from tampines to st Michael.

15 min out of whole of tampines, 24 min to reach Bartley mrt, 30 min reach comfort delgro braddell road, 37 min reach braddell mrt, 41 min reach toa payoh mrt, 47 min reach famous balestier rd stretch, 53 min reach 1 loop around whampoa, 1 hr reach st Michael terminal.

In future, add 10-15 min once passengers loading start to pick up. Cheers. Thanks.

I really wonder why 127 needs DDs. There's 72 and 168 for Tampines Ave 9/10, and 969 for Tampines Concourse.

Hi mr array88, I also don't know why. Maybe use 1 or 2 DDs for new bus service. Now realize the 2 blocks of new bto flats at Jalan tenteram only have service 21 at doorstep bus stop. From today onwards, they have service 129 too. Cheers. Thanks.

That's honestly not bad at all. Seems better than 117.

I'll try later in the afternoon.

yeah i know, the only thing that will drag the timing longer at weekday would be the jam after ramp down from the viaduct till enter TPY(towards st. michael direction) OR after coming outta TPY into Braddell Rd until ramp up into the viaduct.

Hi mr carbikebus, the service 129 bus that I was on had 2 sbs drivers. One drove from tampines concourse int until end of tampines and the other driver took over him and drove all the way to st Michaels. Should be route familiarization. On the return journey, I heard the driver proudly claiming he can finish the route in 50 min. Cheers. Thanks.

carbikebus SG

Most probably its a Sunday plus school holidays thus some BCs will tend to speed because of low loadings activity.

dupdup77 SG

Hi mr kengkia, not only that. Expect temasek polytechnic students drag the time along tampines ave 1. Also expect heavy crowds from st Michael, whampoa, Jalan rajah area, taking 129 to toa payoh mrt as I witness on return trip just now. All these should drag the timing from 1 hr to around 1 hr 10 min. Cheers. Thanks.

kengkia SG

As long wun drag too much i can see that the route will be a success, as long they leave the bartley road section as it is ie. use only those two bus stops and use the viaduct into braddell road. It's still the very most direct route from the east to the TPY north/ bishan blk 14X-15X side.

I saw two China boys taking pictures of 127/129 along Tampines dangerously at the centre dividers while riding bike..Why jeopardise your life for this?127/129 use A95 12.8m is it?
