Spectulation here: Could 139M be withdrawn in the near future? Since for 139M almost the entire route duplicates with 129. And then with 139 still available, perhaps there would be no need for 139M?

90 mins?? Are you sure?

They should be able to do the route in 65 minutes from end-to-end without layover time.

I have taken a DD 969 recently. It was moving consistently at 40-50 km/h on TPE, and was already 7 mins early when it reached the TPE long bus stops!

Direction 2, towards Woodlands.

Hi mr kengkia, not only that. Expect temasek polytechnic students drag the time along tampines ave 1. Also expect heavy crowds from st Michael, whampoa, Jalan rajah area, taking 129 to toa payoh mrt as I witness on return trip just now. All these should drag the timing from 1 hr to around 1 hr 10 min. Cheers. Thanks.

I really wonder why 127 needs DDs. There's 72 and 168 for Tampines Ave 9/10, and 969 for Tampines Concourse.

Every bus service needs DDs except 103.

If you know what I mean.

I took 129 during AM peak today, which is its first weekday on svc...

Boarded 8.09am, toured Tamp for 22 min, reached Bartley 8.38am, and got off at Braddell MRT 8.49am (40min journey)

Loading was q healthy for a start... Average of 2-3 person per stop with a fully seated lower deck on viaduct... I think the poster right smack in the middle of the route info rly helped as there are q a number of ppl checking it out

Driver snailed on viaduct so it could have been faster... But overall I'm very impressed by the route. Meticulously planned and well crafted to the needs of both long and short haul travellers. The planners deserve a huge bonus for xmas!!

Also add info... I was otw to Bishan so add 5min to the time to Braddell and that's how long it takes to xfer 129 to Bishan...

All, whole journey for service 129 is exactly an hour from tampines to st Michael.

15 min out of whole of tampines, 24 min to reach Bartley mrt, 30 min reach comfort delgro braddell road, 37 min reach braddell mrt, 41 min reach toa payoh mrt, 47 min reach famous balestier rd stretch, 53 min reach 1 loop around whampoa, 1 hr reach st Michael terminal.

In future, add 10-15 min once passengers loading start to pick up. Cheers. Thanks.

You still ask such questions? when they use so many DDs for sv 46 with 15-20 pax loading, and on 119 for years when it doesn't deserve. And 117 for months with only 30 pax loading, this shouldn't come as a surprise.

Great. 45 mins from Tampines to Bishan, not bad at all.

256 will have no service on Christmas Day.

127 will have reduced service on Christmas Day, terminating at Tampines Avenue 10 (Blk 741A).

anyway, seem like some buses are not connected to the CFMS system (maybe buses too new).. they are not captured in the bus arrival apps.. apps are showing buses with frequency of 35-40 mins...

46, 83, 119 all don't deserve DDs but have so many. 28 deserves full fleet DDs but until now still have so many Citaros.
