my bad, no need to log off....
ok, let me clarify again.....
you just said: don't think in terms of eastern or western parenting
style.....
that is in violation of the topic.... so it means that any further
discussion will be going out of topic.... hmm, very "interesting"
way to start a thread.
you know what.... i'd rather you stop using the word delusion
because any other idea not seen to be from experts is concluded to
be delusional, hence a exception clause is now added to the
"discussion" - a really unrealistic premise to go anywhere....
because apparently, now hard evidence is required, not to mention
that is really offensive to anyone even remotely wanting to share
their personal take.
yardsticks? who are the experts? child care writers? my
grandparents who'd raised tons of kids, all of them doing well?
doctors? psychologists? who?
since the new premise for discussion is not suppose to center on
eastern or western, i assume i no longer have to provide any
evidence on my earlier opinion on western style parenting....
.... and that this new post by you mentions nothing about the so
called controversy.....
.... so having said all that, perhaps you can start the ball
rolling and give us a sampling as how you want this thread to
flow..... afterall apparently you are the only sane one here.
