I have done the calculations and found out that 107 OACs are now
deregistered... There are also four OACs and CACs laid-up, so the
number of O405s left running on the roads is 197 (excluding the 15
Volgren units). There are 287 Batch 1 and 2 non-BSEP MANs now,
which did replace some of the retired O405s from July 2013. If we
trace the number of Batch 2 MANs registered from July 2013 when
they started to replace the O405s, the number of Batch 2 MANs
registered from August is 42. So the number of Batch 3 MANs
replacing the other retired O405s is 65.
There are 89 units of Batch 3
MANs registered currently, which means that there are now a total
of 376 MANs registered on the roads now... When the 332 Batch 3
MANs are all registered, you would have 619 non-BSEP MANs. This is
a sharp increase from the original 308 units of the
O405s.
Note that I did not include BSEP MANs.
Gus.chong means the number of non-BSEP MANs
registered is higher than the number of the O405s getting
deregistered...
so the Lances/DAF/Scania L113/Hino are replaced by?
further 332 units of batch 3 MAN consist of BSEP as
well..
