TS, for the sake of salvaging whatever 'friendship' you have
with your room-mate, perhaps it would be good if both of you have a
good talk and agree to give each other space.
Firstly, both of you need NOT have to wait for each other every
morning to catch the bus. Whoever is early, go first.
As to cooking, agree to a system like, you use the microwave first
on Mon/Wed/Fri and your room-mate uses it first on the other days.
I've skipped out Sundays as I think both of you might have your own
social activities bah.
One of the probable reasons why both of you are getting at each
others' nerves could be because of the unwritten rules both of you
have about leaving for work together, eating together, etc,
etc...
Even in marriages, if the couple gets too sticky to each other,
there's bound to be arguments and resentment.
Maybe my 2 cents' worth of suggestion MIGHT work, maybe it might
not.
