Buy your own microwave. That way no need to fight over a single
microvwave oven. Go out to work seperately, take different buses,
no need to wait for each other. I dun see the logic nor the need to
wait up for each other. 
In any case, two different sets of ppl will always have problems to
live under the same roof, including own families. Even if you
decide to have another room mate, this kinda problems will still
exist. Worse still, if the new room mate has a history of being
violent, just to get his/her way, i am pretty sure it's gonna be
very hard and messy for both of you.
To live under the same roof, one has no choice but to give way to
the other. If she dun wanna give an inch to you, sad to say, you'll
have to give way. This is the Yin/Yang way. You might say, "why
should I give way to this woman? who the heck does she thinks she
is anyway?" Then too bad, there won't be any peace in this
godforsaken union. You then have a choice, go live with someone
else, and cross your fingers and do hope that the next person is
kinder, gentler towards your needs. Not the kind that will raise
hell for you, much, much worse than this current woman you're
sharing the place with.
