all that differences and quarreling is not going to help you build
a strong foundation in the relationship, no matter how much you
love each other. as the saying goes "sometimes love aint enough"
and that is true.
you should take into serious consideration your bf's management of
his anger. as he has a history and you have experienced it for
yourself, chances are he is not going to change (how can he when he
has never acknowledged nor tried to do something about it?)
you will be subjected to his abusive ways. it always begins with
the punch of objects and when some day you are the 'object' around,
it will be your turn. when people are angry, they dont stop for a
moment to think what it is that they should be doing. instead they
block out everything else and think what it is that they want to do
to get rid of that anger they feel inside. it is the only he way
knows to tackle that unhappiness.
your bf needs professional help. your love and concern can only be
support to his road to change and recovery. he must want it for
himself to change and be helped.
some people will think while it is wrong to judge someone based on
his past, tell me - isnt he doing it right now? please do not
underestimate a person's ability in a fit of anger.
if he loves you and values the relationship enough, he will try to
change. if he doesnt want to, i suggest you leave him; for your own
good.
