There was one time when I wasn't exactly happy with my school's
policies and wrote these kind of stuff on sgforum also.
So from my experience, I would say...go look for and consult the
principal you're unhappy with first, if whoever wrote that hasn't
done it yet. I think it's unfair for both the school and the
principal to have stuff written about them here and have people
insulting them without even giving them a chance to explain
themselves.
But well...I've see the fuhua secondary's response to the student's
letter on STOMP...I would not exactly say the authorities has made
matters better for themselves...they didn't explain themselves very
clearly, giving vague and general replies...
And the thing about the uniform and undergarment. Yes, I agree that
coloured undergarment can be seen almost too easily under the
uniforms. So why design uniforms that are TRANSPARENT in the first
place? Yes...I know white and thin uniforms are suppose to
represent purity. But please, there's no 'purity' if you can see
through it. Even skin-coloured or white-coloured undergarment can
be seen under these uniforms, so no point asking students not to
wear undergarments of other colour.
Still...clarify things with the principal PERSONALLY before stating
assumptions here!
